In the course of buying and selling discontinued tableware we visit a lot of car boot sales, often out of our own local area. However, when you are in an unfamiliar town, it is not always that easy to find out where the local boots are as the papers advertising them sell out a day or so before the event. We have looked at a number of existing websites, but in general the information given is limited, and because they often charge the car boot operator to advertise, not many boot sales are listed. Some even expect people to register just to do a search.
